PMAT is a joint-stock company with a registered capital of 4,463 million dinars (44 million euros). PMAT is a subsidiary of AGM (Algerian General Mechanics) and is part of the Equipment and Agricultural Equipment Division whose main objective is to meet the mechanization needs of all agricultural sectors.

With a workforce of 580 employees, PMAT's mission is the marketing of agricultural machinery and equipment, after-sales service, maintenance of equipment, spare parts for machinery and agricultural equipment, and the provision of agricultural services.
